21-year-old singing sensation Rita Ora was welcomed into FLAVA's studio recently to chat about her number one selling single R.I.P. Rita,who is just as well known for her trend-setting sense of style as her music debut, revealed that she's been in and out of production deals before signing with Jay Z's label Roc Nation in 2009.
"There's been a lot of promises that fell through since the age of 14, it's been a few years of thinking I'm there and I'm not but it's been a great learning experience."
Prior to Rita's debut solo single R.I.P featuring UK rap artist Tinie Tempah she had soared to the top of the charts featuring on the DJ Fresh anthem 'Hot Right Now.' She has also worked with a handful of high profile musicains including Kanye West, Chase and Status, Stargate and Drake.
Rita's album will be released later in the year and she promised audiences a surprising selection of guest appearances from her label mates,
"The album is done in my eyes ...it's got surprises! I would love to keep it a surprise all I'm saying is the camp is involved!"
