PopGirl kicked off half term by celebrating the 100th episode of Spotlight, a weekly in-house production presented by Gemma Smallpage. Packed with brilliant new music videos, fashion tips and questions from PopGirl viewers the 100th episode was nothing short of extraordinary.
Viewers were also treated to an exclusive sneak peek and review of The Muppets new movie while special guest Olly Murs stopped by the set for a hilarious embarrassing stories skit.
Spotlight first aired on February 6th 2010 and has since enjoyed a host of celebrity guests such as Jedward, Selena Gomez, The Wanted, Pixie Lott and The Saturdays. Producer and channel manager of Pop Girl Stephanie Wahlstrom says,
“Making Spotlight each week has been a joy. We have loads of fun and hopefully that shows up on screen. I can’t believe we’ve hit 100 already and I’m looking forward to 101.”
