Chart Show TV viewers were recently treated to an hour long interview with the No.1 selling boy band The Wanted. The band visited Chart Show TV, for the second time, to chat about their highlights from the past year which included a top 10 album and the summer anthem ‘Glad You Came’.
Inbetween touring with the likes of Britney Spears and Justin Bieber in Brazil, The Wanted have squeezed in enough time to release a brand new album called Battleground. When asked about the difference between Battleground and their self-titled album band member Jay said,
"This time around we wanted it to be a little more grown up. The first time round we were having a lot of fun and seeing how we fit as a band and this time around we really knew what we wanted to make".
The Wanted have recently been signed to American label Def Jam and will be embarking on a tour of the US early this year. However, the band reassured fans that they will continue to touch base with UK fans,
"We'll always be going back and forth it just depends on good scheduling...they will be seeing us."
