Flava is celebrating today after scooping the award for Best Specialist Music Channel at last night’s Freesat Awards. This is the second year in a row that the popular urban music channel has impressed the Freesat panel after winning Best Music Channel last year.
Flava began broadcasting in 2008 with a mission to satisfy the growing demand for urban culture and has continued to build audience loyalty with a powerful mix of exclusive interviews, A-List videos and behind the scenes specials with the world’s biggest stars.
As the leader of the cutting edge urban music scene, Flava is dedicated to bringing its music savvy audience the newest acts before anyone else, promoting up and coming UK breakthrough acts in its weekly shows UK Raw Talent and iluvlive, while also being the home of Tim Westwood TV.
