CSC Media Group Ltd (CSC) was founded in late 2006 via the purchase of a portfolio of six television channels from the original producers of the Chart Show.
Today the company owns and operates a portfolio of 16 television channels in the UK and internationally across four main genres; music, kids, movies and entertainment.
CSC believes in gaining a competitive edge through using the latest in broadcast technology and, as such, its infrastructure has been transitioned to one of the most advanced, with end to end digital delivery and a move towards a software and IP based platform.
CSC’s in-house production facilities have in turn been upgraded with digital storage and Final Cut Suites throughout, with online content approval and compliance checking.
Embracing new media and social networking, CSC has rolled out websites behind each of its Kids’ channels as well as a number of other key channels and is in the process of launching a new kids gaming joint venture.
There is a mature and active social media strategy behind CSC Music channels, culminating in the launch of the first truly social media TV channel in April 2012, BuzMuzik.
CSC continues to grow its market share in each of its three genres, maximize profitability through its robust commercial partnerships and launch initiatives merging TV with new interactive technologies.
